John E. Howl has been named CEO of Broadmead, a senior living community in Cockeysville.
Howl succeeds Richard F. Compton who is retiring after 27 years of service. A transition period will begin June 3 when Howl arrives until Compton retires on June 30.
Howl has served on the boards of numerous state associations in the aged care field. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Oakwood Lutheran Homes Association in Wisconsin.
Howl holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from Metropolitan State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in in St. Paul, Minn.
